Daily Didactic

Today began early, but relaxed, over breakfast in the Rock House. Our companions are heading back to Salt Lake today, to position for an early morning flight on Tuesday. As our flight out of SLC is not until Tuesday afternoon, we are skipping the big city and spending an extra day in Helper. We ate, went for the twenty-five minute full tour of Helper, and Tim and Anne jetted.
We loaded the 4Runner and settled in to the welcoming Happiness Within coffee shop to bookend our three-ish hours until we could check into “Hibiscus House”. It will be our fourth stay. Some days we believe we could move here.
After more coffee, some painting, and a little travelogging, lunch time came. We shifted over to the spectacular Helper Beer for some pizza and a beverage, and were rewarded with an early checkin to our AirBNB. We moved in and spent the rest of the day slowly sorting and pre-packing, watching nonsense TV, and going for an early evening walk to close those rings. Someday we may just spend our week in Helper.
