Daily Didactic
As with any travel, the journey began with getting out the door. For reasons unexplained, we were ready a few hours before our ride to the airport. We made it to the airport with plenty of time to catch up with fellow teachers and former students. It all worked out great, by the time we made it to the gate, we waited less than 30 minutes and were in the air within an hour. The flight this time, compared to last summer, is a quick and easy 6 hours and 45 minutes to Reykjaivk. The crazy thing it that it's 8 time zones, so it will be 10:00pm our time and 6:00am there. We'll lose a night, but our apartment for hire will be available when we get there. Bring on the geothermal!
