The day began late in the elegant parking lot of the Autohaus in Ellsworth, closed and quiet for the weekend. Having pulled in rather late, we rose slowly and hit a coffee stand (for Brian) before we transferred our necessities back into and onto the bus. We returned the Stratus to the Bar Harbor airport just in time to avoid another day of rental and headed back for our home away from home on Mount Desert Island, Bass Harbor Campground. We registered and spent the rest of the day doing laundry, some shopping, and playing catch-up on this little web site. A nice relaxing day, with any guilt over not hiking and site seeing removed by nasty weather and fog. Not too sexy, but a much needed day off after a pretty exciting week.
