Tonight's Lodging:
High Field House
Daily Didactic
We touched down in Dublin around 8:00 AM, cleared customs and secured a rental. Todd bravely tackled the left hand driving thing while Cori and our new friend Jill the talking GPS discussed directions. Cori's map was better and Jill was convinced Todd was driving through fields. We found the quaint little town of Trim around 10:00 and checked into the Highfield House B and B. Our room wasn't available until 1:00 so we did what you do in Ireland, we went and looked in a Castle. After some lunch and a little tour of a medieval dwelling we promptly took a 6 hour nap. I'm not sure it helped. In the early evening we wandered Trim some more, found dinner and enjoyed a couple of pints in a real Irish pub. This might work out after all.
