Malinmore, Ireland to Roundstone, Ireland

Our day started under sunny skies in Malinmore. We tooled up an out of the valley in hopes of getting a recommended boat ride out to see the highest (or not) sea cliffs in Europe, Slieve League. We reached Teelan Harbor a half hour later to find that Paddy, the skipper, was taking a day off. No bother, we drove the wonderfully narrow and windy road to the Slieve League carpark and hiked to the top of a ridiculously tall cliff. After marveling in the wonder of it all, we headed down the trail and off to Donegal Town. In Donegal we took our second castle tour of the trip and had a great lunch in a little pub across the road. Our day's drive to Roundstone took us through Sligo, and Westport, with stops at Mullaughmore Head and Kylemore Abbey and through some wildly pretty country. After a long and windy and absurdly thin road, we pulled in to the village of Roundstone for the night.
