Daily Didactic

The day started off strong and ended weak. We got up at a comfortable time and, after some breakfast and lounging, headed for one of two touristic objectives for the day. We walked through Bascarsija market and back to the Latin Bridge to look through the Museum of the Assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The museum was small and to the point, both positive attributes in our book. About 30 minutes later and feeling stronger in our historical understanding, we headed for our second goal the Old Jewish Cemetery. Unfortunately, Brian had somehow lost the Google map in his phone and we needed to find a little wifi. Fortunately, this was to be found close by at the historic Sarajevo Brewery along with our lunch. We were a little early for lunch and had the quite opulent restaurant to ourselves for a while. Brian ordered the first chicken wings he's seen since stateside (who wouldn't) and Theresa went with the more traditional Hungarian Goulash. Both were excellent. Wifi told us that the Jewish Cemetery might be better bundled with our destinations for tomorrow, so we headed for the fruit market and then made a beeline back up the hill to our palace on the hill. Theresa did some yoga and art and Brian worked on the travelog. Sadly someone didn't keep up with his daily water intake and developed a doozy of a headache. The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent by Brian trying to kick his headache and Theresa enjoying a little down time.
