Daily Didactic

So today got off to an odd start. We both woke up at a ridiculous hour (like 4:30) and, unable to get back to sleep, ended up perusing Iceland highland road info on our iPads. Somewhere in the process, Brian decided to look at our vehicle reservations for Reykjavik. What confused him most was why we appeared to be picking it up a day before we were arriving, Friday morning instead of Saturday. Then he got a funny feeling. After a quick look at our Iceland Air tickets, we realized we were leaving this afternoon and not tomorrow. It was a long, yet quick, morning of last minute details and by 1:30 we were on the way to the airport. After a quick check-in, the rest of the day went as it should, just 24 hours before we had expected it to. About 8 hours later we landed at Keflavik airport and caught the Skybus to Reykjavik. Right around midnight Anchorage time, we found breakfast at the lovely Laundromat Cafe. It's going to be a long day.
