Today was what we've dubbed a "Brussels Day". This stems from a day a few years back in Brussels, where we knew we should be out seeing something but just really felt like hanging out in a nice Airbnb apartment. Today (after a short walk from the Edinburgh/Waverely Station) we started the day by checking in early. It was one of those nice situations where the flat was ready and it worked out better for our host. In our pad by 8:30, we promptly celebrated with a 3 hour nap to make up for a short night on our sleeper. In the late morning Theresa did yoga and Brian uploaded some travelog days. We eventually decided we were going to need some food and Yelped a pub in the neighborhood. Should you end up in Edinburgh, we'd give a nod to the Holyrood 9A. In the neighborhood of the university, great burgers, great beverages and good wifi. As we do, Theresa painted and Brian interneted. It was a lovely afternoon. On the way back to our flat, we swung by the Tesco and bought enough food to fill our small fridge for a few days. Back in our 3rd floor walk up, Theresa whipped up a salmon dinner and we watched some amusingly hard to understand television for a few hours before calling it an excellent "Brussels Day".
